Biography

Legal Assistant Shirley Davenport was born in San Diego, California, moved to the Pacific Northwest and then north to Alaska to join the team at Baxter Bruce & Sullivan P.C. in 1996. Prior to working with the firm, Shirley attended college in San Diego, California and worked as an office manager of a printing company. Also, Shirley attended vocational training and continued educational studies in the State of Washington while working in the field of real estate marketing and sales. Additionally, Shirley attended the University of Alaska Southeast for paralegal studies.

Shirley has worked for the firm for over 27 years and has served the firm’s clientele in many areas of law including, but not limited to, probate and postmortem estate and trust administration, business formation and business compliance, professional and industrial licensing and transactional real property and business matters. Shirley greatly appreciates the opportunity to compassionately guide clients through probate and postmortem administration matters, help clients venture into doing business in the State of Alaska and assist clients with the documents necessary to facilitate the sale of their real property, personal property and business assets.

When not working, Shirley devotes her time to her husband and six feline children. She enjoys traveling and spending time with her out of state family, continuing her spiritual studies to strengthen her relationship with the Lord, spending time in her garden, cooking, and watching great films.
