Biography

Rachel Trapp is a born and raised Alaska girl who moved to Juneau for college (UAS) in 2004. She fell in love with the misty mountains and plethora of hiking trails. She has always been passionate about animal welfare and worked at the Juneau Animal Rescue for 11 years doing everything from cleaning kennels to Animal Control. Moving on from helping animals and their people she went to Alaska Court System where she stayed for 5 years. Before coming to the Baxter Bruce and Sullivan family she worked for the Attorney General’s Office assisting with Probate Matters for the State of Alaska.

Rachel believes in fairness and kindness above all, whether it means helping a kitten with fleas or a person navigating the Legal system. On her off time she enjoys taking her three dogs for walks on Juneau’s beautiful trials and afterwards curling up on the couch with a comic book or two.
