Alex HILDEBRAND

Alex Hildebrand was born in Madison, Wisconsin and lived there until his family moved to Edina, Minnesota.  While living in Minnesota he earned his Eagle Scout Badge.  He attended Carleton College in Northfield, Minnesota where he received a B.A. in Geology with a concentration in Environmental and Technological Studies in 1998.  Alex attended the University of Minnesota Law School where he was a managing editor and staff member of the Minnesota Journal of Global Trade.  As part of his legal studies, he studied abroad in Santiago, Chile and at Uppsala University in Sweden.  During law school he worked for the General Counsel’s office at the University of Minnesota.  Alex received his J.D., magna cum laude, in 2004.  He was admitted to the Minnesota Bar in 2004 and the Alaska Bar in 2006.    

 

Following law school, Alex clerked for the Honorable David Minge at the Minnesota Court of Appeals.  In April of 2006, he moved to Juneau and began working for Baxter, Bruce & Sullivan.  At Baxter Bruce & Sullivan Alex handles a wide variety of cases with a particular emphasis on employment law, commercial fisheries permit appeals and Appellate Advocacy.
